I didn't start out knowing how to connect data to reading instruction. I had to figure it out one classroom, one student, one frustrating data report at a time.
Over 25+ years in K–12 education, I watched brilliant, dedicated teachers burn out not because they lacked skill, but because no one gave them the framework to reason through student data, connect it to effective reading instruction, and have an outlet for honest, self-reflective teaching practices.

I felt that tension every single day and it's why I became determined to find a better way. A framework that was clear, repeatable, and actually connected to what happens inside a real classroom.
